My boyfriend at the time wanted to take me out on a date. I was so excited. A few things went wrong. First, I had to drive, which wasn’t a big deal except for the fact that he didn’t have his license because he had a DUI. Then he took me to the restaurant he worked at to get 50 per cent off our meal, again which wouldn’t be an issue, but made me pay for my own meal. Then he got super drunk off his half-priced beers, so the date ended with me driving my drunk boyfriend home. Safe to say I don’t date heavy drinkers anymore. 

Well, I have to say, you are a very understanding person. Every benefit you gave him, he gave you a doubt. He showed his true colours that night. The decisions that he made were not the best for a date in a new or old relationship. I’m happy that you took some good information from this experience, but I’m sorry you had to learn the hard way.
